Muscle Up Performance will take its show on the road this weekend as a vendor/exhibitor at the 15th-Annual GoodGuys Rod & Custom Southeast Nationals at Lowes Motor Speedway in Concord, NC.

The show will feature more than 3,000 muscle cars, hot rods and classics as well as hundreds of specialty parts vendors this Friday-Sunday, October 24-26. According to Muscle Up owner and former NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Truck Series driver Rich Bickle, this is one car show you won't want to miss.

"It's going to be interesting working a car show at Lowes instead of racing there," said Bickle of the 1.5-mile Lowes oval. "It's going to be a great show - tons of incredibly cool cars on display everywhere and parts for just about anything someone might have in their garage. If it has something to do with a custom, classic, hot rod, muscle car or truck, this show is going to have it."

Bickle made 15 starts at Charlotte during his NASCAR driving career, including his first ever Winston Cup (now Sprint Cup) start in the 1989 All Pro Auto Parts 500. In all, the Edgerton native made 10 Cup starts, four NASCAR Busch (now Nationwide) Series starts and one NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start at the legendary track. His best efforts were a Busch Series pole in the 1995 Red Dog 300 and a 10th in the 2003 Hardees 200 Truck Series event.

"I always loved racing at Charlotte," said Bickle. "It's a great track. It's going to be kind of strange going back there for something other than a race, but I'm really looking forward to this weekend and the GoodGuys show there."

Still an active Late Model Stock car driver back in his native Wisconsin, Bickle's focus is now Muscle Up Performance, a full service classic, hot rod and muscle car renovation and restoration shop. Located in Janesville, WI, Muscle Up Performance can take any car or truck from a rusty hulk to a show winner. Best of all, Muscle Up Performance has developed a new full-frame replacement chassis that allows for 21st century handling and safety in just about any vintage vehicle.

"We'll have a couple examples of our full frame chassis replacements (left) at the show this weekend," Bickle stated. "These new bolt in chassis allow owners of first and second generation Camaros, 1964-72 GM A-Bodies, 1953-62 Corvettes, 1965-70 Mustangs, and several other cars and trucks the ability to get rid of the slow steering, poor handling and unsafe braking these cars all possessed when they were new. There's just no comparison between any car's original handling characteristics and one that has been upgraded with a Muscle Up Performance replacement frame and suspension package."

In addition to the show cars and vendor exhibits at the 15th-annual GoodGuys Southeast Nationals, a huge swap meet and cars for sale corral are sure to please the thousands of gearheads and casual onlookers this weekend.

"This show will have everything - including our Muscle Up Performance chassis display in the infield at Lowes," said Bickle. "The GoodGuys group puts on a great event. We participated in one of their events earlier this year at Madison (WI) and we were extremely pleased with the way things turned out. That's why we're headed to Charlotte this weekend and the Southeast Nationals."

The GoodGuys 15th-Annual Southeast Nationals will get underway Friday morning at 8 a.m. and run through 5 p.m. that evening. Saturday's show hours will be the same while Sunday's final day activities are scheduled from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Admission for the event is $17 for adults while children 7-12 will be admitted for only $6. Kids under 6 years old will be admitted free of charge.

Rich Bickle's Muscle Up Performance is located at 4100 Newville Road in Janesville, WI and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Central Time (closed weekends and holidays). For more information, please call 608-754-4545 or log on to www.muscleupperformance.com.
